| The Thursday Night Scooter Ride is Tulsa's oldest established scooter ride. This will be the sixth year that this unorganized group of scooterists ride into the unknown in search of a fun ride, something to eat and good conversation. Tulsa Scooters has provided a staring point for this ride since it's inception at the Denver Grill and encourages all riders, no matter what they ride or what shop they frequent to join us for a non-commercial, safe and fun ride. These rides are for fun and that means there are fewer and shorter rides during the winter. That's not to say that any Thursday that is unusually warm there won't be a ride, but keep in mind that after the sun goesdown so does the temperature and, well...if you want to know if anyone is riding you can call Tulsa Scooters, 74-SCOOT(747-2668) and see what the intrest level is. Once spring arrives and Daylight Savings Time goes into effect the rides are pretty regular. Sometimes there are two or three riders but we have had as many as twenty plus riders necessitating breaking into two groups. |
